Raytown is a perfect 8-0 against Ruskin since September of 2018 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Bluejays will head out on the road to challenge the Golden Eagles at 4:00 p.m. Raytown is coming into the matchup on a five-game losing streak.

It was a Battle of the Birds when Raytown took on Grain Valley on Monday. The Bluejays might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 15-0 to the Eagles, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior.

Meanwhile, Ruskin fell victim to Truman and their airtight pitching crew on Wednesday. They lost 20-0 to the Patriots. The defeat continues a trend for the Golden Eagles in their meetings with the Patriots: they've now lost three in a row.

Ruskin's loss dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Raytown, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-8.

Raytown took their win against Ruskin in their previous matchup back in September by a conclusive 15-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Bluejays since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
