Soccer Recap: Miramonte Find Success

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against California, Miramonte was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They came out on top against the Analy Tigers by a score of 3-1. That's more bragging rights for the Matadors, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

They hit Analy with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Jordan Mathews, Olivia Penney, and Sadie Leal-Schuman.

Miramonte now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Analy, they now have a losing record at 1-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Miramonte will welcome Berkeley at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Analy, they will challenge Archie Williams at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Analy's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for three straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.
