Softball Recap: Thursday's Victory Is Windsor's Fourth in Last Five Outings

Windsor won against Herculaneum on Tuesday with ten runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Thursday. The Owls didn't even let the Pacific Indians on the board, marking the Owls' second-straight 10-0 shutout. The Owls might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four matchups by seven runs or more this season.

Windsor is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a massive bump to their 5-4-1 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.2 runs on average over those games. As for Pacific, they dropped their record down to 3-8 with the loss, which was their fourth straight at home.

Coming up, Windsor will host Rockwood Summit at 3:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Pacific, they will be playing at home against Linn at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. The Wildcats' pitching crew has only allowed 2.7 runs per game this season, so the Indians' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
