There's no place like home for Frederick, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. Everything went their way against the Fairview Knights on Thursday as they made off with a 14-2 win. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Golden Eagles considering their two-run performance the contest before.
Elayna Fisher made a big impact no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, pitching four innings while giving up just two earned runs off five hits. Fisher was also solid in the batter's box, going a perfect 1-for-1 with one double and one RBI.
