Softball Recap: Crowder Takes a Loss

Crowder made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Pittsburg, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Demons fell just short of the Panthers by a score of 3-1 on Thursday. The Demons have struggled against the Panthers recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

Crowder's loss dropped their record down to 5-16. As for Pittsburg, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-13 record this season.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Pittsburg beat Crowder by a score of 8-2 later that day.
