Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Waverly). They put the hurt on the Hastings Tigers with a sharp 16-6 win on Thursday. This was payback for the Vikings, who suffered a 12-6 loss the last time these two teams met.

Tenley Peery was incredible, firing off two home runs, seven RBI, and one double while going 4-for-5. Those four hits gave her a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Reagan Glassburner, who went 3-for-5 with three runs, three RBI, and one double.
