Baseball Recap: Commerce Comes Up Short

The home team had come away the winner the last four times Commerce and Barrow Arts and Sciences Academy had met, but sadly for the fans who attended this one that wasn't the case. The Tigers fell just short of Barrow Arts and Sciences Academy by a score of 10-8 on Wednesday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss the Tigers have suffered since March 7th.

Commerce dropped their record down to 4-21 with the defeat, which was their third straight at home. As for Barrow Arts and Sciences Academy, their win ended a five-game drought on the road and puts them at 9-16.

While Commerce had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair will be back at it again later today.
