Softball Recap: Porter Comes Up Short

Thursday just wasn't the day for Porter's offense. They came up short against the Kiefer Trojans on Thursday, falling 12-0. The loss continues a trend for the Pirates in their meetings with the Trojans: they've now lost seven in a row.

Porter now has a losing record of 4-5. As for Kiefer, their win was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 8-0.

Porter wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 14-0 defeat against Quapaw on the 21st. Hopefully Kiefer paid attention to the Pirates' matchup: the next time they hit the field, they'll take on the Pirates at 4:15 p.m. on Thursday.
