Basketball Recap: Enterprise Hornets vs. Pleasant Valley Vikings
Enterprise suffered their biggest loss since February 1, 2024 on Tuesday. They were outmatched by the Pleasant Valley Vikings and fell 65-31. Perhaps unsurprisingly, the Hornets' biggest loss of the season was also their lowest-scoring.
Enterprise's loss came despite strong showings from Maci Anderson and Meeya James. Anderson posted six points and three steals, while James had five points. What's more, James also racked up four rebounds, the most she's had since back in December of 2024.
Pleasant Valley had a senior duo take command as Ava Dunn put up eight points and eight boards and Aj Gambol went 6 for 15 to rack up 12 points. This is the second loss in a row for Enterprise and nudges their season record down to 10-13. As for Pleasant Valley, they are on a roll lately: they've won 15 of their last 16 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 20-4 record this season.
Enterprise wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 52-47 defeat against Shasta on the 6th. As for Pleasant Valley, they have also already played their next game, a 46-36 win against Chico on the 6th.
