Basketball Recap: North Central Knights vs. Pender Pendragons
If North Central was riding high fresh off their 48-25 takedown of Neligh-Oakdale last Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The North Central Knights took a blow against the Pender Pendragons on Friday, falling 74-26. The Knights were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 36-12.
Despite the defeat, North Central saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Mya Lewis posted ten points.
Pender's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances.
