Football Recap: Blue Earth Falls to Luverne in First Game of Season

Blue Earth kicked off their season on the road on Thursday and hit a couple of potholes. They were beaten by the Luverne Cardinals 40-6. The loss continues a trend for the Buccaneers in their meetings with the Cardinals: they've now lost three in a row.

Coming up, Blue Earth will host Blooming Prairie at 7:00 p.m. on September 5. As for Luverne, they are headed away from home for the first time to face off against Sibley East at 7:00 p.m. on September 5.
