McEachern entered their tilt with McIntosh on Wednesday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They never let the Chiefs get on the board and left with a 1-0 victory. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Indians have posted since March 4th.

Not much got past Ezra Gandy, who gave up just four hits to keep McIntosh off the board.

On the hitting side, McEachern's victory was truly a team effort as five different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Alijah Asad, who went 1-for-3 with one run and one double. That double marked the first that Asad has hit this season.

McEachern's record is now 20-4. As for McIntosh, their loss dropped their record down to 9-14.

Coming up, McEachern is taking a road trip to challenge Carrollton at 5:55 p.m. on Thursday. The Indians will need to watch out since the Trojans have now posted at least ten runs in their last three games. As for McIntosh, they will look to defend their home field on Friday against East Coweta at 6:00 p.m.
