Basketball Game Preview: Ferndale Yellow Jackets vs. Fort Hill Sentinels + How To Watch

The Ferndale Yellow Jackets are taking a road trip to square off against the Fort Hill Sentinels at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Ferndale is coming into the game on a six-game losing streak dating back to last season.

Ferndale is headed into the contest out to prove that what happened against Windber on Tuesday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. The Yellow Jackets were dealt a 65-18 loss at the hands of the Ramblers. The Yellow Jackets were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 47-8.

Ferndale's defeat came about despite a quality game from Geonna Riffle, who posted nine points and five rebounds.

Meanwhile, Fort Hill came up short against Keyser on Tuesday, falling 70-45. The Sentinels have struggled against the Golden Tornado recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.

Fort Hill's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Ferndale, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-3.

Ferndale might still be hurting after the 65-44 loss they got from Fort Hill in their previous matchup back in February. That matchup was all but decided by halftime, at which point the Yellow Jackets were down 39-18.
