Champlain Valley Union is a perfect 10-0 against South Burlington since September of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Redhawks will face off against the Wolves at 6:00 p.m. Champlain Valley Union will be strutting in after a victory while South Burlington will be coming in after a loss.

Champlain Valley Union barely beat St. Johnsbury Academy the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Redhawks put the hurt on the Hilltoppers with a sharp 3-0 win on Monday.

Meanwhile, South Burlington was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They fell 3-1 to Rice Memorial. While the Wolves didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Green Knights 25-20 in the first set.

South Burlington started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The final score came out to 20-25, 25-22, 25-14, 26-24.

Champlain Valley Union now has a winning record of 4-3. As for South Burlington, their loss dropped their record down to 2-6.

Everything went Champlain Valley Union's way against South Burlington in their previous matchup two weeks ago, as Champlain Valley Union made off with a 3-0 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Redhawks since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
