Champlain Valley Union Redhawks (Hinesburg, VT) boosters left the game satisfied Friday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host South Burlington Wolves (South Burlington, VT), 3-0 in a league test.

With the triumph, Champlain Valley Union upgrades its record to 5-3 on the campaign. The Redhawks travel to Essex (Essex Junction, VT) to meet the Hornets in a Division 1 challenge on Monday, October 6. The Hornets come into the challenge with a record of 9-0. Essex won 3-0 in their recent league challenge against Bellows Free Academy (St. Albans, VT)

Next, the Wolves meet the Mt. Mansfield Cougars (Jericho, VT) in a Division 1 challenge, on Monday, October 6. South Burlington will attempt to upgrade on its 2-7 season record. The Cougars go into the test with a 5-4 record after their 3-2 non-league win over Rice Memorial (South Burlington, VT).
