Baseball Recap: Eastern Takes a Loss

After flying high against West Union last Friday, Eastern came back down to earth. The Warriors came up short against the Blanchester Wildcats on Friday, falling 13-3. The Warriors have struggled against the Wildcats recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.

Eastern's loss dropped their record down to 5-11. As for Blanchester, their win was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 20-4.

Looking ahead, Eastern will take on Manchester in a tournament on Tuesday. The Warriors' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Greyhounds have averaged an impressive 7.1 runs per game this season. As for Blanchester, they will be playing at home against Xenia at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
