Baseball Recap: Carver Comes Up Short

Friday just wasn't the day for Carver's offense. They came up short against the Columbus Blue Devils on Friday, falling 14-0. The Tigers haven't had much luck with the Blue Devils recently, as the team has come up short the last nine times they've met.

Carver's loss dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Columbus, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-9 record this season.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Columbus beat Carver by a score of 15-0 later that day.
