Soccer Game Preview: El Capitan vs. Valhalla

El Capitan and Valhalla are an even 4-4-2 against one another since February of 2015, but likely not for long. The El Capitan Vaqueros will be playing in front of their home fans against the Valhalla Norsemen at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.

El Capitan is looking to tack another W on to their season record, something they couldn't quite do against West Hills on Friday. Neither El Capitan nor West Hills could gain the upper hand so the two teams had to settle for a 1-1 draw.

El Capitan's goal came courtesy of Sofia Simone, who's now up to seven this season.

Meanwhile, for the first time since back in December of 2024, Valhalla was forced to settle for a draw on Monday. They played to a draw too, finishing 2-2 against West Hills.

El Capitan's draw makes their record 7-7-1 this season. Meanwhile, Valhalla's record is now 7-9-3.

El Capitan skirted past Valhalla 2-1 in their previous meeting back in January. Will El Capitan repeat their success, or does Valhalla have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
