Soccer Recap: Windsor Forest Comes Up Short

After soaring to six goals the game before, Windsor Forest was a bit more limited in their match on Tuesday. They came up short against the Islands Sharks, falling 3-0. While losing is never fun, Windsor Forest can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Georgia soccer rankings (they are ranked 239th, while Islands are ranked 40th).

Windsor Forest has also been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-8 record this season. As for Islands, the victory (which was their eighth in a row) raised their record to 10-3.

Windsor Forest didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next contest, a 4-1 win against Beach on the 27th. As for Islands, they also wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next matchup, a 2-1 victory against Calvary Day on the 27th.
