Basketball Game Preview: Cambria Heights Highlanders vs. Rockwood Rockets

The Cambria Heights Highlanders will take on the Rockwood Rockets at 7:15 p.m. on Wednesday.

Cambria Heights is probably headed into the game with a chip on their shoulder considering Penns Manor just ended the team's seven-game winning streak on Monday. They received a blow as they fell 54-40 to the Comets.

Rockwood got their first taste of in-conference action this week and they started things off strong. They walked away with a 38-31 victory over North Star on Monday. The match marked the Rockets' most dominant win of the season.

Rockwood's victory ended a nine-game drought at home and bumped them up to 3-13. As for Cambria Heights, their loss ended an 11-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 15-6.

Cambria Heights was able to grind out a solid win over Rockwood in their previous matchup back in February of 2024, winning 56-43. Does Cambria Heights have another victory up their sleeve, or will Rockwood turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
