Soccer Recap: North Cobb Comes Up Short

North Cobb lost against Hillgrove back in March of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The North Cobb Warriors came up short against the Hillgrove Hawks, falling 4-1. Things were pretty much settled by the half as the Warriors were already down 3-0.

Their goal came courtesy of Mauricio Dias, who's now up to three this season.

This is the second loss in a row for North Cobb and nudges their season record down to 3-3. As for Hillgrove, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 3-1.

Coming up, North Cobb will venture away from home to take on Kennesaw Mountain at 8:00 p.m. on Friday. Kennesaw Mountain's last three contests have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Hillgrove, they will take on Jackson County in a tournament on March 13th.
