Basketball Recap: Iroquois Comes Up Short

Iroquois was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They took a blow against the Girard Yellowjackets, falling 45-13. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Braves this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 50-21 back in January.

Iroquois' loss dropped their record down to 3-14. As for Girard, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-12.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Iroquois has already played their next matchup (against Eisenhower), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Girard will face off against Mercyhurst Prep at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Mercyhurst Prep will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Girard surely won't give up without a fight.
