Softball Game Preview: Seckinger Jaguars vs. Brookwood Broncos

The Seckinger Jaguars will square off against the Brookwood Broncos at 5:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Seckinger is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 8.3 runs per game this season.

Wednesday just wasn't the day for Seckinger's offense. They came up short against Wesleyan on Wednesday, falling 12-0. The Jaguars' defeat signaled the end of their four-game winning streak.

Meanwhile, Brookwood got the win against Cherokee Bluff on Monday by a conclusive 8-2. The Broncos might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 13 matchups by six runs or more this season.

Brookwood is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight games. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-5 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.3 runs on average over those games. As for Seckinger, their loss dropped their record down to 14-9.
