Football Recap: Lakeview Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Lakeview had lost three straight at home, but on Friday they dropped down to 0-5 to make it four. They were beaten by the Reynolds Raiders 59-12. The Sailors lost against the Raiders in their previous head to head back in September of 2024, too, but the margin this time around was even wider than the 36-26 score last time.

As for Reynolds, the win keeps them at an undefeated 5-0. Fans of they have seen this all before: every one of the games they've played this season has ended in a blowout of 20+ points.

Gabriel Minjarez had a dynamite game, rushing for 132 yards and four scores on only 13 carries, while also catching one touchdown. Minjarez is crushing it when it comes to rushing yards: he's rushed for at least 102 every time he's taken the field this season. Another player making a difference was Xavier Zachrich, who gained 110 total yards.

Looking ahead, Lakeview will venture away from home to square off against Sharpsville at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Reynolds, they will welcome Cambridge Springs at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
