Volleyball Recap: Tri County Area Takes a Loss

Tri County Area lost against Newaygo back in October of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Vikings fell 3-1 to the Lions.

The final score came out to 25-17, 21-25, 25-11, 24-16.

Jade Gould paced Tri County Area's offense, picking up six kills. Gould got some help from Easton Harkness and her nine assists. Harkness also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Karlie Byle, racking up three apiece.

Tri County Area's loss dropped their record down to 3-8. As for Newaygo, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-5.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Tri County Area will challenge rival Chippewa Hills at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Newaygo is set to take on their familiar foe Morley Stanwood at 8:30 p.m. on Saturday.
