Baseball Recap: Osborne Takes a Loss

Osborne was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They lost 12-2 to the Harrison Hoyas. If the Cardinals were looking for revenge after losing 13-1 to the Hoyas when the teams met back in February of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Osborne saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Joshua Tattershall, who went 1-for-2 with one home run and one stolen base. Tattershall is becoming a predictor of the Cardinals' success: when he posts at least one home run the team is 4-1 (and 4-14 when he doesn't).

Osborne's defeat dropped their record down to 8-15. As for Harrison, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-12 record this season.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Harrison beat Osborne by a score of 14-1 later that day.
