Basketball Recap: Deajah Chatman Leads a Balanced Attack to Beat Johnstown Christian

Ferndale won the last time they faced Johnstown Christian and things went their way on Friday too. The Ferndale Yellow Jackets snuck past the Johnstown Christian Bluejays with a 46-40 win. The victory was all the more spectacular given the Yellow Jackets' disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 425th, while the Bluejays are ranked 129th).

Ferndale's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Deajah Chatman, who posted 14 points and three blocks. Finni Mason was another key player, putting up 14 points along with six rebounds and six steals.
