Baseball Recap: Hiram Comes Up Short

Hiram was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 19th straight defeat. They fell 4-0 to the Cass Colonels. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Colonels this season, with their most recent loss being a 7-2 defeat on Thursday.

Jayden Gaddis was a force to be reckoned with on the mound despite the final result: he struck out ten batters over six innings while giving up four earned runs off four hits.

Hiram's loss dropped their record down to 7-23. As for Cass, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 15-14 record this season.

As of now, neither Hiram nor Cass have any future games scheduled.
