Football Recap: Kenyon-Wanamingo Takes a Loss

Kenyon-Wanamingo was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss dating back to last season. They were outmatched by Cotter/Hope Lutheran/Riverway/Meinke HomeSchool and fell 41-8. The Knights lost against Cotter/Hope Lutheran/Riverway/Meinke HomeSchool in their previous head to head back in September of 2024, too, but the margin this time around was even wider than the 6-0 score last time.

Kenyon-Wanamingo's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Cotter/Hope Lutheran/Riverway/Meinke HomeSchool, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Looking ahead, Kenyon-Wanamingo will face off against Randolph at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Cotter/Hope Lutheran/Riverway/Meinke HomeSchool, they will welcome Lake City at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
