Basketball Recap: Tioga Takes a Loss

Tioga was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were beaten by the Muenster Hornets 74-29. While losing is never fun, the Bulldogs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 1090th, while the Hornets are ranked 114th).

Tioga's loss dropped their record down to 4-10. As for Muenster, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matches, which provided a nice bump to their 15-3 record this season.

Tioga and S & S Consolidated will round out the year against one another at at 3:15 p.m. on Friday. Tioga is facing S & S Consolidated at the right time seeing as S & S Consolidated is stuck on a ten-game losing streak. As for Muenster, they will square off against Roscoe at 1:00 p.m. on Friday. Muenster is coming into the game hot, having won their last four games.
