Softball Recap: Pueblo South Comes Up Short

Pueblo South was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They lost 10-0 to the Pueblo Central Wildcats. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Colts of the 18-3 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2024.

Pueblo South's loss dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Pueblo Central, their victory bumped their record up to 5-1-1.

Coming up, Pueblo South will head out on the road to challenge University at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. The Bulldogs will roll in looking for their tenth straight win, something the Colts surely won't give up without a fight. As for Pueblo Central, they will take on Mountain Vista at 11:00 a.m. on Friday.
