Softball Game Preview: Colo-NESCO Royals vs. Baxter

The Colo-NESCO Royals will head out on the road to square off against Baxter at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Colo-NESCO has given up an average of 11 runs per game this season, but Monday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Colo-NESCO came into their game on Saturday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 13-0 to Iowa Valley.

Meanwhile, Baxter was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 15th straight loss. They came up short against GMG, falling 9-3.

Baxter's defeat dropped their record down to 1-19. As for Colo-NESCO, they have been struggling recently as they've lost 13 of their last 14 matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-18 record this season.

Colo-NESCO couldn't quite get it done against Baxter in their previous matchup on June 4th as they fell 10-7. Can the Royals avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
