Soccer Recap: Cloverdale Takes a Loss

Cloverdale lost against Healdsburg back in November and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Cloverdale Eagles came up short against the Healdsburg Greyhounds, falling 4-0. While losing is never fun, the Eagles can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 599th, while the Greyhounds are ranked 163rd).

This is the second loss in a row for Cloverdale and nudges their season record down to 1-3. As for Healdsburg, their win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 7-0.

Cloverdale wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next matchup, a 3-0 victory against St. Vincent de Paul on the 12th. Healdsburg has also already played their next contest, a 5-0 win against Swett on the 12th.
