The Heritage Patriots will venture away from home to take on the Valley View Eagles at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Heritage has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
On Tuesday, everything came up roses for Heritage against Paloma Valley as the squad secured an 80-47 win. The Patriots have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 11 matches by 22 points or more this season.

It was another big night for Sierra Maxwell, who went 10 of 18 en route to 27 points in addition to six assists and five boards. She has been hot recently, having also posted three or more steals the last three times she's played. LaKaila Trimble was another key player, dropping a double-double on 15 points and 16 rebounds.
Maxwell wasn't the only one working in the assists department: Heritage was working as a unit and finished the game with 16 assists. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their assist total in three consecutive contests.
Meanwhile, after a string of three wins, Valley View's good fortune finally ran out on Tuesday. They were dealt an 84-46 defeat at the hands of Moreno Valley. The Eagles were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 46-21.
Heritage will have to contain Mason Long as she made an impact in Valley View's last game. She posted 28 points and four steals. Another player making a difference was Jada Booten, who put up five points along with seven boards and five steals.
Heritage's victory was their tenth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 16-6. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 31.9 points. As for Valley View, their loss dropped their record down to 13-11.
Rebounding is likely to be a big factor in this contest: Heritage has been smashing the glass this season, having averaged 35.2 rebounds per game. However, it's not like Valley View struggles in that department as they've been averaging 33.9 boards. With both teams battling to corral missed shots, we'll see if one team can grab an edge.
