Recap: Roosevelt Teddies vs. DeLaSalle Islanders
The Roosevelt Teddies''s recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their eighth straight loss. They were beaten by DeLaSalle 41-0. The last quarter was a mere formality, since the game's final score was reached by the end of the third quarter.
DeLaSalle can attribute much of their success to Ray James, who rushed for 90 yards and two touchdowns on only five carries.
Roosevelt's defeat was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their overall record down to 1-9. That rough patch could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 3.0 points per game. As for DeLaSalle, their victory bumped their record up to 2-6.
Roosevelt does not have any more games scheduled as of now. DeLaSalle is also done with their season.
