Basketball Recap: Santa Clara Comes Up Short

Santa Clara was the 52-39 winner over Cupertino when they last played one another back in January of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Santa Clara Bruins took a 33-22 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Cupertino Pioneers on Monday.

Santa Clara's defeat dropped their record down to 3-9. As for Cupertino, their win bumped their record up to 4-6.

Santa Clara has already played their next match, a 42-32 loss against Palo Alto on the 14th. As for Cupertino, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 46-14 victory against MacDonald on the 14th.
