Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Bristow). Everything went their way against the Dewey Bulldoggers on Saturday as they made off with a 9-3 victory. The Pirates not only won on Saturday, but they posted their biggest win since October 1, 2024 (when they won 10-1).

Bristow has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-6 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.5 runs on average over those games. As for Dewey, their loss dropped their record down to 14-5.

Bristow didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 13-3 defeat against Tecumseh on the 8th. As for Dewey, they have also already played their next contest, a 15-0 victory against Salina on the 8th.
