Get to know future California Golden Bear McKenzie Forbes.

Competing this week at the McDonald's All-American Games in Atlanta, McKenzie Forbes is riding a streak of success on the basketball court that is enough to make any player envious.

Regarded as a Top 50 prospect in the Class of 2018, Forbes led Folsom (Calif.) to 27 wins this season with a trip to the Sac-Joaquin Section Division I title game. A 6-foot wing, she posted averages of over 19 points, six rebounds and five assists per game.

Committed to California since January of 2017, her good fortune continued Monday as she won the 3-point contest at the Powerade Jam Fest — part of the festivities this week in Atlanta.

Perhaps her Midas touch on the court should come as no surprise. Her father Sterling was a member of the most successful basketball team of all-time, the Harlem Globetrotters.
