Softball Recap: Johnson County Takes a Loss

If Johnson County was feeling good fresh off their 8-2 takedown of Glascock County on Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. Johnson County lost 9-1 to Telfair County on Wednesday. Johnson County was not able to repeat the success they had when they faced Telfair County earlier this season, when they won 11-10.

Johnson County's loss dropped their record down to 11-10. As for Telfair County, their victory bumped their record up to 11-8.

Looking ahead, Johnson County will take on Swainsboro at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Telfair County, they will challenge Clinch County at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Trojans' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Panthers have averaged an impressive 10.2 runs per game this season.
