Emanuel County Institute had to skate by with only a one-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the ten-run drubbing they dealt Metter on Tuesday. The Bulldogs were the clear victors by a 12-2 margin over the Tigers. The Bulldogs might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 14 games by seven runs or more this season.

Emanuel County Institute has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 17 of their last 18 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 21-5 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.7 runs over those games. As for Metter, their defeat dropped their record down to 13-13.

Coming up, Emanuel County Institute will head out to challenge Statesboro at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Blue Devils will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each match than the last. Metter does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
