The Rock Hill Bearcats will head out to face off against the Nation Ford Falcons at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Rock Hill will be strutting in after a victory while Nation Ford will be coming in after a loss.

Rock Hill took a loss when they played away from home last Friday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Friday. They came out on top against Fort Mill by a score of 23-16. The win continues a trend for the Bearcats in their matchups with the Yellow Jackets: they've now won eight in a row.

Meanwhile, Nation Ford came up short against Indian Land on Friday and fell 34-26. While the Falcons had to settle for second, they closed the game well in the third quarter, where they outscored the Warriors 13-6.

This is the second loss in a row for Nation Ford and nudges their season record down to 3-3. As for Rock Hill, they now have a winning record of 4-3.

Rock Hill took their victory against Nation Ford when the teams last played back in October of 2024 by a conclusive 52-29 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Bearcats since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
