Softball Recap: Eagle Valley Wins Going Away Against Valley

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Eagle Valley). They were the clear victors by a 17-7 margin over the Valley Vikings on Friday. With that win, the Devils brought their scoring average up to 6.4 runs per game.

Bella D'Agostino was incredible, going 3-for-5 with three stolen bases, three runs, and one triple. Those three hits gave her a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Dagny Bartlett, who went 2-for-4 with two stolen bases, three runs, and two RBI.

They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Eagle Valley kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 13 hits. That's the most hits they've managed all season.

The victory got Eagle Valley back to even at 2-2-1. As for Valley, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-6.

Eagle Valley wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 15-10 loss against Platte Valley on the 29th. As for Valley, they have also already played their next match, a 21-11 win against Basalt on the 29th.
