Brookwood had already won five in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 7.2 runs) and they went ahead and made it six on Monday. They blew past the Norcross Blue Devils 13-5. The Broncos might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won three games by eight runs or more this season.

Brookwood's victory bumped their record up to 6-2. As for Norcross, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-7.

Looking ahead, Brookwood will take on North Gwinnett at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Bulldogs' pitching crew has only allowed 0.8 runs per game this season, so the Broncos' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Norcross, they will head out on the road to take on Duluth at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Wildcats have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 7.75 runs per game on average), something the Blue Devils will no doubt try to take advantage of.
