Softball Recap: Checotah Comes Up Short

Checotah was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They fell 7-3 to the Inola Longhorns. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Longhorns this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 11-8 on Tuesday.

Checotah's loss dropped their record down to 4-8. As for Inola, they have been performing well recently as they've won eight of their last ten matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-11 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Checotah will challenge Glenpool at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Inola, they will face off against Cleveland at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday.
