Baseball Game Preview: Jones County Greyhounds vs. McDonough Warhawks

Jones County's pitching crew heads into the game hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Monday. They put the hurt on Hampton with a sharp 11-0 victory. The result was nothing new for the Greyhounds, who have now won 11 contests by eight runs or more so far this season.

Meanwhile, McDonough was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their tenth straight defeat. They came up short against Eagle's Landing Christian Academy, falling 11-0.

The win made it two in a row for Jones County and bumps their season record up to 16-5. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.5 runs over those games. As for McDonough, their loss dropped their record down to 3-12.
