Softball Recap: South Forsyth Comes Up Short + How To Watch

South Forsyth extended their losing streak to three on Monday, dropping them down to 8-13. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 6-5 heartbreaker at the hands of the Dawson County Tigers. That's two games in a row now that the War Eagles have lost by just one run.

As for Dawson County, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-5 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.4 runs on average over those games.

For Dawson County's part, Kaelyn Utech was excellent, going 3-for-5 with two stolen bases, one run, and one RBI. Lilly Hamilton was another key player, going 2-for-4 with one stolen base and one RBI.

Coming up, South Forsyth will challenge Lambert at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Dawson County, they will venture away from home to face off against Greater Atlanta Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
