Soccer Game Preview: Willow Glen vs. Live Oak

The Willow Glen Rams will head out on the road to square off against the Live Oak Acorns at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Willow Glen will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak.

Willow Glen's defense heads into the match hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Friday. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over Prospect. Given Willow Glen's advantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 400th, while Prospect are ranked 875th) , the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, while it was all tied up 1-1 at halftime, Live Oak was not quite Silver Creek's equal in the second half on Friday. They came up short against the Raiders, falling 4-1. Live Oak haven't had much luck with Silver Creek recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

Live Oak's defeat dropped their record down to 4-9-1. As for Willow Glen, their win bumped their record up to 8-4-2.
