Soccer Recap: Pacific Grove Takes a Loss

While it was all tied up 1-1 at halftime, Pacific Grove was not quite Palma's equal in the second half on Tuesday. They fell just short of the Palma Chieftains by a score of 2-1. The Breakers' defeat continues a trend for the team, making it four in a row.

Pacific Grove's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Palma, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a nice bump to their 4-3-1 record this season.

Coincidentally, both will both be playing Gonzales the next time they take the pitch. Palma will host Gonzales at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday, while Pacific Grove will head out to face them at 5:45 p.m. on Monday.
