Basketball Recap: Etna Comes Up Short

Etna was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat. They were beaten by the Trinity Wolves 61-27. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Wolves this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 51-22 back in January.

Claire Cox had an outrageously good game for Trinity as she dropped a double-double with 21 points and 13 boards. Another player making a difference was Elsie Storckman, who dropped a double-double with 18 points and ten rebounds.

Etna's record now sits at 7-19. As for Trinity, they have been performing well recently as they've won 13 of their last 16 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 21-7 record this season.

Coming up, Etna will square off against Tulelake at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Trinity does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
