After some red-hot attacks on offense in their last three matches, West Campus finally came back down to earth on Thursday. They fell just short of the Fairfield Falcons by a score of 2-1. The Warriors' loss signaled the end of their seven-game winning streak.

Their goal came courtesy of Liliana De La Rosa, who's now up to five this season.

West Campus' defeat was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 10-1 and their overall record down to 11-2-3. As for Fairfield, they pushed their record up to 11-6 with the win, which was their fourth straight on the road.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. West Campus will venture away from home to square off against Valley at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. West Campus is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 4.5 goals per game this season. As for Fairfield, they are taking a road trip to face off against Burbank at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Fairfield also hasn't been messing around on offense: they've averaged 4.4 goals per game.
